What You Can Do to Help

There are many different ministries, programs and institutions of the Archdiocese which would greatly benefit from your generosity and kindness. Listed below are some of the gift opportunities available.

Italo-Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of the Americas and Canada (General Operating Fund)

All donations made to the Archdiocese, which are use non-specific or non-restricted, will be deposited into the General Operating Account of the Archdiocese and may be used by the Archdiocese at its sole discretion. Funds may be used for administrative salaries, payment of utilities, chancery and office operations, mission development, Christian education, etc.

Italo-Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of the Americas and Canada (Perpetual Endowment)

This is a restricted donation. Donations made to the Archdiocese and designated “Perpetual Endowment” may not be used by the Archdiocese for a period of ten (10) years. Upon expiration of the 10 year period, only the interest generated from the principal may be used. The interest is deposited into the General Operating Account of the Archdiocese annually and may be used for any purpose.

(Clergy Retirement Fund)

This is a restricted donation. Donations designated specifically for the Clergy Retirement Fund will be used solely for that purpose.

Italo-Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of the Americas and Canada

(Seminarian Scholarship Fund)

This is a restricted donation. Donations designated specifically for the Seminarian Scholarship Fund must be used solely for that purpose. Scholarships of $10,000 per year ($5,000 per semester) per eligible seminarian will be made available. Scholarships will paid directly to the seminary at the successful completion of each academic semester.
